Some weddings carry two sets of traditions. Two families with different expectations, two sets of customs to honour, sometimes two ceremonies in a single weekend.

We have photographed and filmed weddings for Malay and Chinese couples, Malay and Indian couples, Malay and English couples, and Chinese and English couples. We know how to hold both halves of a day without either one feeling like the afterthought.

Photo and video under one team, so your gallery and your film feel like the same wedding.

Multicultural weddings are rarely straightforward to plan and rarely straightforward to photograph. There is often more to cover, across more hours, in more locations, with two families who may be experiencing each other's customs for the first time.

Two Traditions, One Day

1.We plan for the whole shape of it

A tea ceremony in the morning and a sanding in the evening is two weddings in one day. We staff and pace accordingly.

2. We photograph both sides with the same care

Whichever tradition is less familiar to us on paper, we research beforehand and ask you about in advance. No side of your family should look like the B-roll.

3.We watch for the moments between

Two families meeting properly, a grandmother learning a custom she has never seen, the small crossings that only happen at a wedding like yours. These are often the frames couples tell us they treasure most, and they are easy to miss if you are only shooting the schedule.

Both Of You, Properly Exposed

This is a real concern for interracial couples and it does not get talked about enough. When two people have significantly different skin tones, it is easy for one to become the default the whole frame is adjusted around. The result is one person beautifully lit and the other washed out, darkened, or turned orange by a preset.

We light and expose for both of you. Where the light falls unevenly, we shape it. In the edit, we grade skin tones individually rather than dragging a single look across the whole frame.

You should both look like yourselves in every photograph.

Female Photographers

Based on availability

Some of our couples prefer a female photographer for the bride's preparation, the nikah, or throughout the day. A large part of our team is women, so this is a normal request rather than a special one.

Availability varies by date, so let us know early when you enquire and we will tell you honestly what we can arrange.

Familiar With Your Venues

We partner with these venues and are in their all-inclusive package:

Otelia Bay, Changi Beach Club

The Cove, City Plaza

The Iris, City Plaza

Amaris D Arena

Grand Dahlia

Lagun Sari

We have photographed and filmed weddings at mosques across Singapore, in void decks and community clubs, and at hotel and restaurant venues throughout the island.

We know which spaces have difficult lighting, where the good corners are, how audio behaves in a void deck versus a ballroom, and how to work respectfully within a mosque setting. That familiarity means less time figuring things out on the day and more time actually documenting your wedding.

Dreamy, not staged.

Our Style

Documentary x Editorial

We photograph and film what is happening rather than directing you through a shot list. But we are not passive observers either. We watch light, we shape composition, and we guide gently when guidance helps.

What you get is a gallery and a film that feel like your wedding, not like a production that happened at your wedding.

5 Reasons to Say "I Do" At Otelia Bay

There is a particular kind of light that only happens by the water. It softens everything — faces, dresses, the whole feeling of a day. As part of Otelia Bay's all-inclusive package we photograph couples in that light often, and we have fallen a little in love with the place ourselves. Here are five honest reasons we would point you toward the sea.

Wedding Planning

FAQ

We are having two ceremonies. Can you cover both?

Yes. Many of our multicultural couples do exactly this, sometimes on the same day and sometimes across a weekend. We have packages that will be able to accommodate for both 1 day or 2 day events.

May I know your rates?

Sure our rate card is available on our website. You can find it here

How do I book your team and what is the payment structure?

You can whatsapp us at +65 93687605 and enquire more. If you would like to proceed with the booking, we will send over a questionnaire where you can let us know what package you would like, any add ons and what specific requests you would like us to take note of. After that we will need a 30% deposit to book the date and confirm the booking. 50% of the payment will be made on the day or before the event. Last 20% will be paid when we send over the final softcopies.

Do you offer same day/next day edits?

Yes. This works especially well at multicultural weddings where guests have not seen the other side's ceremony.

How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?

Sneak Peek Photos/Highlight Video will be delivered 2-4 weeks after your event.

Full Gallery Photos & Full Film will be delivered 2 - 4 months after your event.

How early should we book a date?

We recommend to book at least 8 months - 1.5 years in advance to secure a slot.

When should we plan our pre-wedding?

As edited photos will be ready by 2-4 months, we recommend planning a pre-wedding shoot at least 6 months before your wedding date so that you have more than enough time to receive the soft copies/highlights film and prints.

Do you travel for weddings outside Singapore?

Yes. We offer overseas pre and post-wedding shoots, and we take on destination weddings.
